This Venice cheese server was created for the Christofle Contemporain collection, which came out in 1970. This collection featured resolutely modern shapes, in stark contrast to the historical styles then in vogue. This cheese server also existed under the name Saturne for Christofle Hôtel (fromagère/sucrier de bar, in steel or silver-plated metal and glass, 1986). Christofle Vintage Collection pieces are second-hand pieces selected and authenticated by Christofle. They are pieces in good condition and restored in our workshops in Yainville (Normandy)...
